300 Series Kinsman Keel

Kinsman Keel lifted

The keel has been completely redesigned and now has an all up weight of 350kg compared to the old keel of 260kg, the area has also been increased. These modifications will improve the upwind performance of the boat.

The keel is fitted with 6 tampered locator lugs. This ensures the keel doesn't move when in the lowered position unlike the old keel configuration which rattles around whilst the boat is under sail.

When the winch is being operated to either lift or lower the keel you can let go of the winch handle without fear of it free running.
